And your class will be a maximum size of one to two students. But you’ll also use your experiences OUTSIDE of class as a remarkable learning laboratory. San Juan del Sur is caressed by warm, tropical breezes with beaches teeming with life. Nearby, you’ll find beautiful Lake Nicaragua, Isla de Ometepe, and the stunning Costa Rica border. And you’ll participate in fascinating “Mini-Cursos” at San Juan del Sur Spanish Language School, hosted by school staff and visiting instructors and designed to enlighten you on historical topics and their relevance to the real-world challenges of Nicaraguans today. You’ll also journey to neighboring beaches – often, in the laid-back spirit of San Juan del Sur, that journey happens by foot or bicycle! – and you will be able to explore, swim, and surf in waters that are stunning in their beauty. You’ll experience fishing, horseback riding, and wildlife viewing. And that’s just the start.
