The following is an approximate list

Arranged and paid at the school or in advance for larger groups. - **Prices vary depending on the number of students
- Weekend trip to the Isla de Ometepe on Lake Nicaragua. Ferry to the island, hike up the volcano or trip to Alta Gracia to see petroglyphs.
- Excursion to Masaya. Day trip to Nicaragua�s artisan capital with a fun visit to the innermost domain of her lively market and the more sublime artisan market as well as visits to the shops of some of the artisans themselves, and a tour of the city.
- Excursion to el Mirador de Catarina. Day trip to the most beautiful access point to the Laguna de Apoyo with a hike down to the crater lagoon for a swim and lunch. Includes a visit to San Juan del Oriente, the cradle of Nicaragua ceramic artisan work.
- Turtle watching at Nature Reserve Playa La Flor. This takes place in the months of October - January when huge sea turtles come out of the ocean to deposit their eggs and later the newly hatched sea turtles come out of the sand to go to back to the ocean. Day and night trips.
- Fishing excursions by boat out of the SJDS bay. There are a lot of exotic and delicious fish in the waters that line Nicaragua's Pacific coast.
